Western Washington University (WWU) invites applications for a Research Associate II scientist with experience in mass spectrometry (MS) to join our team in the University Instrument Center, a core facility providing analytical services supporting research and teaching campus-wide. This 12-month, 0.75 FTE position is responsible for serving as a technical consultant to faculty, students, and other investigators; maintaining, operating, and servicing MS instrumentation and related equipment; and working collaboratively with other technical staff to support research and teaching. Ph.D.-level candidates may also develop an independent research program and are eligible to apply for grants and participate in mentoring undergraduate and graduate researchers.
