The Pacific Northwest Mass Spectrometry Group, PacMass, exists to provide a local forum for the free exchange of ideas and information concerning science, philosophy and technology as it relates to the discipline of mass spectrometry and related fields. PacMass members include scientists, students and corporate sponsors.

The quarterly meetings, which include presentations by invited speakers, are open to all at no charge. An informal social hour with refreshments precedes the lecture. While membership is not mandatory it is encouraged among non students.

We take pleasure in welcoming members and guests of the Proteome Society to our PacMass meetings and are happy to provide a link to their web site at http://www.proteome.org/1Home/f_home.htm

Please thank our corporate sponsors for support of the PacMass organization.

Thanks also to Frederick A. Matsen III, M.D. for the spectacular photography used in the PacMass logo. See more of his beautiful Rainier photos here.

If you have suggestions for a meeting topic, or know of a prominent mass spectrometrist who will be visiting the Pacific Northwest area, please contact our assistant program chair.
